Intermountain Health plans to acquire Idaho Falls Community Hospital and expand its ownership of Mountain View Hospital, strengthening its presence in Eastern Idaho’s healthcare sector.
The proposed transaction is another sign of the momentum behind healthcare in Eastern Idaho. Both hospitals are expected to remain locally managed, with current leadership, jobs and compensation remaining unchanged under the agreement.
