Several Events Happening During ISU Homecoming Week

It's homecoming week at Idaho State University.

And to celebrate, there are events and activities going on all week.

Adam Storms, the Director of the ISU Student Activity Board, says hundreds of people turned out for their bonfire Wednesday night.

ISU clubs participated in a 'Tug-of-War' on the quad on Thursday.

Thursday night was the homecoming royalty pageant at the ISU Pond Student Union Ballroom.

Then today from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. is the 'Conquering Cadet' event which is a big party on Cadet Field.

There will be a DJ, food, lawn games and Ninja Nation is bringing a $16,000 dollar obstacle course.

At midnight tonight students will hike up Red Hill to touch the pillars and become a true Bengal.

"I think that the homecoming activities are super important to unify the student body and to bring out some Bengal pride for the entire university. It's awesome to see everybody come out and support the football team and support the different clubs that are competing and I think that giving the students a break from their class is just some time to have fun and it's super important," says Adam Storms, Director, ISU Student Activity Board.

The homecoming parade starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and kick-off is at 4:00 p.m.
