RENOWN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SPEAKER TO KEYNOTE

REDI’S OCTOBER 29TH CONFERENCE

 

 

               IDAHO FALLS, ID -- (October 13, 2021) – Regional Economic Development for Eastern Idaho (REDI) announces renown national and international speaker, Neil Takemoto, will keynote REDI’s, “What’s Up in Eastern Idaho! – POWER OF PLACE Conference, to be held on October 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Takemoto will speak at 12:00/noon. The conference will be held virtually.

“Neil Takemoto is a seasoned national and international leader and speaker. He has traveled the world building cool towns and cities, and over time, he has developed innovative models in regenerative and co-creation of communities through creative partnerships,” states Teresa McKnight, CEO of REDI. “I had the opportunity to work with Neil fifteen years ago on a project in Utah. He is a creative and thought-provoking leader. Over the years, he continues to bring forward unique opportunities that enhance community and economic development ecosystems across the globe. We are honored to have Neil keynote this year’s conference and share his experience and expertise with those in attendance,” states McKnight.

 

Neil Takemoto has a 30-year career in regenerative, impact community, and real estate development. He is the founding director of an organization of leaders developing cooperatively owned places as neighborhood serving destinations that are designed, governed, and owned by local communities. He is the founder of a ‘crowdsourced placemaking’ platform that stewards the co-creative revitalization of neighborhoods through partnerships integrating local communities, investors, and government.
