Rexburg Joins REDI

Rexburg joins REDI City of Rexburg officials announced Monday that the city is joining the Regional Economic Development for Eastern Idaho organization (REDI). The move will help promote business recruitment, expansion and retention efforts and attract talent to local job openings, a news release said. “Eastern Idaho is ripe for companies looking for an ideal location to operate,” said Jan Rogers, CEO of REDI, in the release. “With the extensive pool of young, educated talent in our region, new as well as existing businesses can easily tap into Rexburg’s large pool of ready-to-work residents to fill a wide range of job openings. Rexburg joins REDI members Bonneville County, Idaho Falls, Ammon, Ucon, Bingham County, Blackfoot and Shelley. “We believe Rexburg will benefit from joining REDI to partner in their extensive economic development efforts,” Rexburg Mayor Jerry Merrill said in the release. “… We look forward to working with REDI in growing Rexburg’s economy.”
